Home Safety Evaluation
A skilled occupational therapist meets the client, family members, and caregivers in the client's home to evaluate their specific need, concerns and environment. Recommendations are tailored to the client's individual lifestyle, abilities, budget and home.
** Evaluations my be covered by Medicare Part B and/or an insurance company. To be covered the client must be present during the home safety evaluation. **

Accomodations
Reports often come with a list of items that can be added to the home such as guide rails or ramps to help increase safety. If clients don't have a preferred contractor, we have vetted companies we refer to.
Occupational Therapy
Reports often come with in home occupational therapy recommendations. Our agency is able to offer in home therapy in Lancaster, PA with our certified occupational therapists.
Medicare Part B
Great news! Many evaluations are covered by Medicare Part B and/or insurance companies.
Who may need a home safety evaluation?
If you or your loved one have experienced anything that changed their day to day life, it may be time to have the safety and accommodations of the house checked. Home Safety Evaluations reduce the risk of falls, improve quality of life, reduce case management costs, decrease caregiver burden, and decrease hospital readmissions.​
